6 months onwards.

Ingredients:
1½ glass of milk (I use fresh u can use tetra pack)
2 teaspoons full of custard powder
1 slice of toast

Preparation:
Boil 1 glass of milk. Lower the heat
Mix the custard powder in the remaining milk and pour it in the boiling milk, keep stirring. Cook for about 5 mins
Cut away the sides of the slice and put it in a deep plate, then pour the hot custard over it. Cover and set aside
After 5 to 10 mins the slice has absorbed the custard and is very soft you can now mash it up with a fork and give to the baby but check the temperature make sure its not too hot.
I also add a little bit of honey to give it a sweet taste but that’s up to you.

You can also butter the bread slice and toast it a little. I sometimes add gluco biscuits instead of bread slice.
My twins really love this, makes about 2 portions. Hope u try this.

8 months+ babies.

Ingredients:
½ tablespoon of butter
An inch of a piece of meat (chopped into small pieces)
1/4 teaspoon of garlic ginger paste or 1 clove of garlic
1 tablespoon ketchup
Pinch of salt
1 glass of water
1 mushroom (if you want) (cut into pieces)
2 carrots

Preparation:
In a sauce pan, heat butter, add the ginger garlic paste or 1 crushed garlic, sauté, then add the meat, stir fry a little, add mushroom,  add ketchup and a pinch of salt, stir for 2 mins, add water and cover it. Stirring occasionally, let this cook till the water is finished.
In a separate sauce pan boil the carrots.
Combine the carrots and meat; grind this mixture, adding a little warm milk to soften the mixture.
Grind it to the consistency you want and its done.
My twins love carrots, my eldest loved potatoes so I mixed chicken or any other thing with their preferred veggies and they liked it.
A variation to this recipe, instead of meat you can put boneless chicken piece.

11 months+

At this point you are probably wondering when to stop making separate dishes for your now crawling imp J
My girls like a little spicy taste as I have noticed, so if your chld is also preferring to eat what’s on your plate rather than hers then here’s a simple dish.

If you have made allu qeema, or allu gosht or any other dish that has meat in it then simple take out one meat piece, wash it with a little boiled water, so as to take out the extra spice flavor.
So now the washed meat piece, a bread slice with sides removed, and a teaspoon of cream cheese, and just mince it up with fingers, do remember to wash your hands thoroughly before preparing your child’s food.
This will have a little flavor to it, and by this time around your child needs cheese too, and it saves time.
