Hi there, ok the word vintage kind a seems very alien to me so I never do try any kit that says vintage, but this kit was from my designer and looking at it, it didn't seem too intimidating so I gave it a try and loved my page with it!

The Wonder Spot by Melissa Bank

Hi all, been reading some lately, the last book I finished is The Wonder Spot by Melissa Bank.
Well what should I say about this book, you can tell that I didn't particularly like this book because I'm not sure what to say, I want to write reviews, helpful reviews, so i'll be as honest as I can without beating the book!
I found it slow and not very interesting, twice I wanted to give up reading it but then I said to myself maybe the next couple of pages will have something interesting, so the fact that I kept at it counts for something, right ?
Anyways I thought it was kind a like a very critical dairy of oneself, I like humorous criticism, specially one directed at one own self its really hilarious when a writer writes like that but in this book it was like a voice void of expression, no drama, no heroic deeds no big band ending, I guess it was very very practical.

Hi there, have you checked out the challenges at ScrappyBee? if not then be sure to check them out here. My goal this is year is to scrap as many photos as I can, I mean I have got tons of pics of my kids and other memeories when I had specially taken pics to scrap but never got to them :) I gues that's everyone s dilemma, and I think doing some challenges is just what I need, because I like working under pressure or when I have a deadline to meet, so far I have got 7 or 8 LOs done in Jan, pretty impressive I would say :)

The Secret life of a Slummy Mummy by Fiona Neill

Hi there, recently read The Secret life of a Slummy Mummy by Fiona Neill, and loved reading it! Very funny and hilariously written the great misshapen of a married life. I think in every human's life there comes a time when you doubt yourself, your choices, its not that they are bad its just a phase that comes over you and in the end it brings the realization that what you have is better and definitely good enough to hold on to till the end.
And I love it more when its written with humorous touch, so this book was exactly what I wanted to read, and I would recommend that you read it too :)
I would give it 5 stars :)
