Hi there, today I'm going to go a little off scrapping and talk about Grammarly, its a grammar checker. It checks for over 250 types of grammatical mistakes, spellings, similar confusing words like than or then etc., checks against plagiarism, word repetitions, word suggestion and such. They say its better than Ms Word. I was asked to put out a word for it and that's what I'm doing, I have not tried it myself, but I did a little poking around and as I believe that everything has its pros and cons, so does the Grammarly.
I think that every writer has a voice of its own, different style, different way of talking to its readers and no matter how efficient these apps and tools get, they can in no way match with a human brain and how it perceives different things, or in this matter a written text.
However, I think its good for student and freelancers with not such strong grammar skills or whose first language is not English. Freelancers who write articles, bloggers and such can benefit from this site, because proper writing skills do make a difference.
